Self motivation is an essential criteria for anyone in life, especially for an entrepreneur without a boss. Afterall, at 26 years of age, you do not have your parents to nag and drag you to get your tasks done when you just do not feel like it. How do people maintain such high levels of self motivation that enables them to rise at 5am in the morning and work through their days like the Duracell rabbit? Do these people surround themselves with friends and family who are perpetually on a high? Do these people actually ridiculously exorbitant prices to listen to self proclaimed motivational speakers such as Anthony Robbins and etc?
Speaking of motivational speakers-- are they for real? Who motivates them? Do they have an unlimited amount of motivation and positive energy that automatically repels all the negativity that surrounds the aura of common beings who attend those sessions? Are the likes of Anthony Robbins all empowering and inspirational that the "high" that you feel during the hours of the sessions will last you a lifetime. Somehow, I do not think so.
As for now, I think I should just settle on trying to stay positive, read, speak to Will (who always seem to be real happy and a real-life Duracelll Rabbit" and just look at nature. I used to listen to "We are the Champions" by Queen which helped alot during my sailing days. It psyched me up. Maybe, I should add a playlist to me new iPod that says "Music that gives me a high" and play that every single morning. So what happens when I run an empty barrel of motivation (which is kinda soon)? I know that I would never consider attending those $1000 sessions and feel high during the session, because I would definitely kick myself when I look at my AMEX bill and go " did I seriously pay for that?"
